Organic food has long ceased to be a niche product. Sales are increasing at a double-digit rate every year and there is no end in sight. High-quality organic products have meanwhile arrived in supermarkets and are enjoying great popularity in every age structure.
In order to meet the increasing demands of consumers, everything of importance meets at the world’s largest trade fair for organic food in Nuremberg. Biofach” is THE international meeting place for producing companies, suppliers, traders and networkers. The trade visitors are among themselves, only industry insiders are allowed on the premises. As always, the stand builders are busy – every year, around 3000 exhibitors from 98 countries present their products. This large number makes it possible to recognise its market position and make important contacts.
A parallel trade congress is a meeting point for knowledge transfer, exchange of industry information, discussion and opinion-forming. Lectures and open discussions with experts will highlight current trends – giving visitors exclusive insights into developments in the organic sector.
In order to keep track of all exhibitors, dates and lectures, a smartphone app has been developed that helps visitors find their way around the exhibition grounds. Dates can be transferred to the smartphone in your own calendar, a GPS-supported hall plan shows you the way to your previously marked exhibition stand. You can find your parking space again by specifying the location of your car on a map of the app.
